David McKane - Managing Director

David is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant with over thirty years experience of both the Manufacturing and Distruibution Sectors. He is able to discuss Accounting, Production and Distribution matters with customers and translate those requirements into software terms for software engineers. This ensures the customer gets what they require from their systems.

David concentrates heavily in pushing the software into new areas and ensuring that the software operates to fulfil both customers current and future requirements. More recently he has become very involved with issues such as Batch Traceability, Web-Based Interfaces and Scale Integration.

David enjoys playing squash, reading books when he has time, and touring the continent on his motorbike (BMW R1200RT)

Colin Hanlon - Technical Director

Colin joined Datos in March 1992. Prior to joining the Company he was employed by KPMG Management Consultancy for two years, where he was mainly involved with the development of software solutions for Medium to Large Sized Companies.

Colin holds the position of Technical Director within the Company. He is heavily involved in the development of Season. Colin concentrates on enhancing the system and is always keen to make improvements, improving speed and ease of use for the end user. He also has considerable experience and knowledge of working closely with many different types of Companies, helping them to acheive a Software Solution that meets all of their requirements.

Colin enjoys reading books, looking after his young daughters and is a budding author.

Gareth Bingham - Technical Manager

Gareth has worked on the Technical Team at Datos since December 2005. He graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2005 with a BSc in Computer Science. Initially joining as a Software Engineer, Gareth has progressed to Technical Support Supervisor. He is responsible for managing the Support Team at Datos and also works closely with Colin on the development of Season.

Gareth is a keen footballer, and when he is injury free and selected, he plays for Ballynahinch.

Stephen Elliott - Software Engineer - New Products

Stephen joined Datos in November 2007 along with Aaron as a Software Engineer.  Stephen graduated from University of St Andrews in 2004 with a BSc in Computer Science. He also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Engineering from University of Abertay in 2006. Initially working on our Support Desk, Stephen is now responsible for New Products and is heavily involved in our Mobile Software Development Project.

Stephen enjoys watching Movies, listening to music and watching rugby.

Aaron Quinn - Technical Support Manager

Aaron joined Datos as a Software Engineer on the same day as Stephen. Aaron manages our Support Desk, and also works closely with Colin on the implementation of Season. He graduated from the University of Abertay in 2007 with a BSc in Computer Science.

Aaron enjoys Socialising and Snow Boarding and is also our Social Convenor. Aaron recently got engaged and hopes to marry later this decade!

Adam Corkin - Software Engineer

Adam joined Datos as a Software Engineer during the Summer of 2011. Adam works on our support desk. He graduated from University of Ulster Jordanstown in 2009 with a BA Hons in Information Communication Technology.

Adam also enjoys socialising and has a keen interest in DJing, listening to Music, watching Movies and Cycling.

Hannah Rodgers - Marketing Executive

Hannah joined Datos in September 2011. She graduated from the University of Ulster Coleraine in 2009 with a BSc in Consumer Studies with DIS. Hannah comes from a Food Industry background having experience in Technical and Marketing roles, with particular knowledge of Accreditations and Food Standards. Hannah focuses on building and maintaining our new and existing client base and deals with Datos Marketing activities.

Hannah enjoys Skiing, Motorsport and watching Movies.
