January's Technical Tip shows how you can use an Advanced Search to find products using the 'F4, F4' command.
When creating an order within Season Office, select the customer as usual. If 'F4' is pressed at this stage, a prompt list will appear as shown below. This is a list of all the available products which can be sold to the customer.
Pressing 'F4' again at this stage will bring up another window. This allows you to do an advanced search on the Product Code and Description at the same time.
For example, if you were to search for 'Chops', this particular system returns three results as shown below:
The first result has found 'Lamb Loin Chops Spring' by finding the keyword 'chops' within the description field.
The second result has found 'Pork Chops' as the keyword can be found both in the Product Code and the Description fields.
The third result has found 'Shoulder Chops (Broad)' in a similar way to result two.
This unique feature within Season Office means that no longer will you need to remember product codes, the simple 'F4, F4' command does all this for you.
