Road is the application that works on rugged hand-held PDA's or Windows Smart Phones. The software communicates in real time with Office using the GPRS mobile network. If a device becomes disconnected due to network coverage, the date will be stored internally and then transmitted when a connection becomes available.
Key information such as customer details, phone number, address, credit control notes, statement and price books are all available to view or print. Two methods of operation are available:
Van Sales - Provide a simple and easy way to creat invoices at point of delivery, capture signatures, manage returns, collect receipts, control stock on the vehicle and monitor costs.
Van Delivery - Focused on capturing signatures, collecting money and monitoring vehicle costs.
Road can print to either A4 vehicle mounted or 4" portable bluetooth printers. Our latest developments remove the need for a printer. When the operator clicks UPDATE, the signed docket will be transmitted to Office where it will be either faxed or emailed directly to the customer. This reduces cost and speeds up the delivery process.
